Answering and booking, on WhatsApp

Answer everyone.
Without answering anyone.

PerseuBot replies to your customers on WhatsApp and books them into your calendar — on the number you already use, at whatever hour they turn up. You only get what actually needs you.

What answering everything costs

Nobody opens a business in order to answer messages.

But that is what fills the day. And the messages aren't even the worst part — it's that there is no hour left when one can't arrive.

  • It's 22:47.

A message came in ten minutes ago. Don't answer, and by tomorrow they've booked somewhere else. Answer, and nobody at the table understands why you're on your phone.

  • “What times do you have?”

Ninth time today. The answer is identical every time, and every time it's someone on your team typing it out in the middle of something else.

  • Two people booked for 3pm.

One asked over WhatsApp, the other arranged it at the counter. One of them is about to be told there's been a mix-up — and they won't come back.

  • The badge that never reaches zero.

Twenty-three unread. Half of them are questions you already answered, word for word, in a message you sent someone else last week.

None of this is disorganisation. It's more work than the number of people you are.

Both halves, together

Question, answer, times, booking, confirmation.

One conversation, start to finish, with nobody on your side touching a phone. This is what PerseuBot does when answering and booking are both switched on.

Conversation transcript

  1. Customer, 22:38: Evening! Do you do keratin treatments? How much is it?
  2. PerseuBot, 22:38: Evening! 👋 We do. A keratin treatment is €45 and takes about an hour and a half.
  3. Customer, 22:39: Any space this week for the keratin?
  4. PerseuBot, 22:39: Let's get you booked. What day works for you? (e.g. tomorrow, Friday, or 03/07 — or reply “preview” to see all open times) 1) Wed 19/08 2) Thu 20/08 3) Fri 21/08
  5. Customer, 22:40: Thursday at 11 if you have it
  6. PerseuBot, 22:40: Here's your booking: Keratin treatment · Marta · Thu 20/08 11:00 Shall I confirm? (yes / no / back)
  7. Customer, 22:41: Yes 🙌
  8. PerseuBot, 22:41: ✅ All set! Keratin treatment · Marta · Thu 20/08 11:00

Eight messages. Not one of them written by you.

What just happened

  1. The message lands at 22:38, two hours after closing. Nobody is in the salon.

  2. The price and the duration come from what you taught it. If they weren't there, it would say it needs to check with someone — it never makes a number up.

  3. The conversation changes subject on its own here. Nobody had to type “BOOK” or follow a link — and naming the service in the sentence already chose it.

  4. Only days that genuinely have room for this service, with its length, the working hours of whoever performs it and their days off already taken out.

  5. Day and time in one sentence, in her own words. Nobody has to answer in the order the questions were asked.

  6. It confirms before it writes. Nothing is booked until this point, and “back” changes whatever is wrong.

  7. The booking hits the calendar there and then, and that hour stops being offered to anyone else. The day before, Sofia gets her reminder without anyone sending it.

Answering

It answers the questions your team answers fifty times a week.

Prices, opening hours, where you are, parking, what's included, whether you take card. Always the same ones — and always someone stopping what they're doing to type them.

  • 01It only knows what you teach it

You write down the services and prices, the hours, the cancellation policy and the questions you get asked constantly. That — and only that — is where answers come from.

  • 02It answers in the customer's language

Someone writes in English, it replies in English. If you'd rather it always answered in one language, you can pin it.

  • 03It knows when it doesn't know

A question outside what it learned, or too much doubt, and it hands the conversation to you: it flags it, alerts you in the console and on WhatsApp, and tells the customer that someone is coming.

  • 04You can step in whenever

Reply from the console or from the phone itself, the way you'd reply to anyone. The bot goes quiet in that conversation until you hand it back.

It never pretends to know

The answer has to be in what you taught it. When it isn't, the bot doesn't improvise: it either says it doesn't have that, or it fetches a person. That's the difference between an assistant and a liability.

The PerseuBot console showing what the bot knows: services with prices, opening hours, cancellation policy and frequently asked questions.
What the bot knows is a list you write — and change whenever you like.

Booking

A conversation turns into a booking. Without ten messages of back-and-forth.

The customer says when they want, PerseuBot shows what actually exists, and writes it into the calendar. The slot disappears from the list the same second.

  • 01Times that genuinely exist

Worked out from how long the service takes, when the person who does it works, their days off, breaks and the holidays you set. Never an hour that's already gone.

  • 02Two doors, one calendar

Through the conversation or through your booking page — both write to the same place. Two people cannot end up with the same slot, even if they tap at the same moment.

  • 03Reminders that send themselves

Up to four nudges before the appointment, at the intervals you choose and only inside the hours you allow. A cancelled booking is never reminded about.

  • 04Cancel and move it in the chat

The customer writes to say they can't make it and it's dealt with right there. The hour goes back on the list for someone else, untouched by you.

Double bookings don't get through

Not a check in the code that could miss on a bad day: the database refuses the second one. That's the underlying reason you can trust a calendar to a conversation.

The PerseuBot weekly calendar with appointments spread across days and staff.
The week as it looks in the console — bookings from the chat and from your page.

One half, the other, or both

If you only need half of it, take half.

The two parts switch on and off independently, whenever you like, on the same screen. Choosing now doesn't close anything off.

Answers, doesn't book

The bot replies on WhatsApp but never offers or makes appointments. For businesses that don't run on bookings — restaurants, shops, anywhere it's first come, first served.

Before and after

Getting started

Four steps. The long one is writing down what you already know by heart.

No installation, no engineer, and nothing at all for your customers to do.

  1. 1

    Create the account

    2 minutes

Business name, your email, a password and a plan. Services and hours come afterwards, once you're inside and can see what you're setting up.

  2. 2

    Connect your WhatsApp

    1 minute

On your phone: WhatsApp → Linked devices → scan the code on screen. It's the same step as WhatsApp Web, on the number you already use — customers notice nothing.

  3. 3

    Tell it the essentials

    15 minutes

Services and prices, when you're open, who does what, and the three or four questions you get asked every week. Start small and add as you go.

  4. 4

    Switch it on and watch

From here, messages arrive already answered. The moment it clicks is the first real customer who gets looked after without you noticing.

Questions

What people ask before they try it.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. PerseuBot connects to the number you already use by scanning a code on screen — exactly the same step as WhatsApp Web. Your customers keep writing to the same place and notice no difference at all. If you'd rather keep personal and work apart, it works just as well on a number dedicated to the business.

What happens when the bot doesn't know?

It hands the conversation to you. It flags it as needing a person, alerts you in the console and on WhatsApp, and tells the customer someone is coming. It never invents an answer to fill the silence — if it isn't in what you taught it, it doesn't have it.

Do customers realise they're talking to a bot?

Yes, because we tell them. On the first conversation the bot says it's an automated assistant and that they can ask for a person at any point. A customer who works it out for themselves feels worse than one who was told.

Can I jump into a conversation?

You can, and you should whenever you want to. Reply from the console or straight from the phone, like you'd reply to a friend, and the bot goes quiet in that chat until you hand it back. Both sides end up in the same history.

Which languages does it answer in?

For answering, it replies in whichever language the customer wrote in — or always in one, if you'd rather pin it. The booking conversation itself is written in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

What if I only want one of the two halves?

Then take one. Answering and booking switch on and off independently, on the same screen, without asking anyone. Every plan includes both — use the part that makes sense.

What happens if I cancel?

You cancel from the console in one click, and there's no lock-in. The service keeps running to the end of the period you've already paid for. Your customers, bookings and conversations are kept, and you can still sign in and look at them.

Is this an official WhatsApp product?

No. PerseuBot is not from WhatsApp or Meta and has no connection to either. We connect to your account through the same mechanism as WhatsApp Web, which is what lets you keep your own number without asking anyone's permission. In exchange, message pacing is deliberately human — no blasting — so your number stays out of trouble.

Tomorrow at 22:47, someone is going to ask if you have space.

The question arrives either way. The only thing that changes is whether you have to answer it.
